With HBO Max now up and running in the UK the focus turns to getting back to business as usual. That work starts with the confirmation that Game of Thrones mega-hit prequel series House of the Dragon will return to our screens on June 22, 2026. The eight-episode season will air new episodes weekly, leading up to the season finale on August 10.
Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” tells the story of House Targaryen.
