BOOM! Studios has announced that the first issue of The Creeping Below, the premiere issue of the new original series by Harvey and Eisner-Award winning, New York Times bestselling author Brian Azzarello, along with acclaimed artist Vanesa Del Rey (The Empty Man, Redlands), colorist Hilary Jenkins (Black Badge, Grass Kings), and letterer AndWorld Design (Something is Killing the Children) has sold out at the distributor level! Discover a revenge story about black metal, magic, and Norse mythology to life in the beautiful and brutal new series November 2024.

The gods above, the creeping below. BOOM! Studios invites you to witness this violent, electrifying descent into a bloody, black metal infused revenge saga. When Val, an American metalhead attending a music festival abroad in Oslo, is victimized and killed at the hands of a charismatically evil local black metal band, the Old Gods of Norse Mythology raise her up and guide along the path of brutal vengeance in the name of women everywhere. But will she walk the warriors path, or become something far more terrible?

In response to the overwhelming support from retailers and fans, BOOM! Studios has announced The Creeping #1 Second Printing, featuring cover art by series artist Vanesa Del Rey, available in stores November 27, 2024.

“With The Creeping Below, Brian Azzarello and Vanesa Del Rey show why they’re considered among the absolute best in the industry,” said Jon Moisan, Editor. “It puts a smile on my face that readers have shown up to support this messed up horror story.”

The Creeping Below #1 First Printing may be available now at your local comic shop. Digital copies can be purchased from content providers, including Kindle, iBooks, and Google Play.
