Blumhouse has used its panel at this year’s New York Comic Con to announce that American Gods and Westworld director Craig Zobel will be helming its upcoming live-action adaptation of BOOM! Studios’ Something is Killing the Children.
Something is Killing the Children is an acclaimed horror comic series created by New York Times-bestselling author James Tynion IV and Eisner Award-winning artist Werther Dell’Edera. When children begin to go missing in the town of Archer’s Peak, all hope seems lost until a mysterious woman arrives to reveal the terrifying creatures behind the chaos. She alone will destroy them, no matter the cost.
This week the publisher debuted issue #50 of the series, given five-stars by our own Michael in his review, and quickly announced its status as a sellout. A second printing of the landmark issue is set to arrive in stores in the coming weeks.
