Hot Toys are gearing up for something truly chaotic. To celebrate the release of Arcane season two, Hot Toys have teased a 1/6th collectible figure of Piltover’s favourite devastator. The image shared is rather limiting, but we already know that the figure itself is going to look outstanding.
They’ve gone for a plastic sculpt for the hair which is a fantastic idea mainly because it looks better and it don’t wear overtime. Considering the visual style of Arcane, plastic hair just makes sense since you can get those harsher edges just right. We obviously don’t have a good look right now, but it’s clear that Jinx will be accompanied by her iconic minigun. In terms of accessories, Jinx will probably come with a few of her gadgets and exploding gizmos but the main event will be that minigun. It really is a must. Thinking about it, though… Wouldn’t it be great if a deluxe version came with Fishbones?
Because of Arcane‘s more unique modelling and animation style, it will be interesting to see whether they nailed the face model. Take Star Wars: The Bad Batch, for example. Instead of creating animated face sculpts for Clone Force 99, they simply edited the sculpt resembling Temuera Morrison. Of course, they don’t have the benefit of having a live-action model to work off of, so it’s very likely that they’ve simply worked out how to capture one of Arcane‘s most defining features.
