Last week it was announced that Transformers would be going 88 mph to the future to crossover with one of the most beloved film franchises- Back to the Future. However, we had no idea what to expect from this collaboration. Well, now we do and it is epic.
This little Autobot is called Gigawatt and he is a time travelling Transformer who takes the form of the unforgettable DeLorean from Back to the Future. The collaboration was formed to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Back to the Future which was released in 1985.
Funnily enough, Gigawatt has been limited to exactly 1985 pieces, which is really cool. However, it seems as though it will be exclusive to the U.S and will be available at Walmart.

It’s a shame that it hasn’t been made available overseas. But it is something that could change depending on demand. It also makes us hopeful for other collaborations in the future.
