Back when we attended a press screening for Scream 7, Paramount Pictures showed off an unexpected trailer which had the whole cinema holding their breath. That film turned out to be director André Øvredal’s Passenger and that trailer is now officially online.
Set to release in UK cinemas on May 22, 2026, Passenger follows a young couple who witnesses a gruesome highway accident, they soon realise they did not leave the crash scene alone, as a demonic presence called the Passenger that won’t stop until it claims them both turns their van life adventure into a nightmare.
