Ben Affleck has spoken again about his future in the DC Films franchise. In a genuinely insightful article published by USA Today about the production of Justice League the actor is frank and honest about whether he will continue to play Batman. The reviews of Marvel’s The Punisher have hit the web and they are… the same as every other Marvel Netflix show just with added guns. Many of the reviewers have picked up on a solid performance from lead Jon Bernthal whilst pointing to the middle of the season becoming a little dull. Most of Marvel’s efforts in league with Netflix has come under heavy fire for not shortening their episode orders. After years in production hell it appears the remake of The Crow may finally be about to enter production. Justice League star Jason Momoa took to Instagram with a cryptic image of Erik Draven’s makeup as The Crow tagging the remakes director Corin Hardy. https://www.instagram.com/p/BbZp_dWHBO9/?taken-by=prideofgypsies The original The Crow was released back in 1994 and followed up with several critically panned direct-to-video sequels. As we’ve known for a little while Jean Grey will be returning to current Marvel Comics universe. Phoenix Resurrection: The Return Of (Adult) Jean Grey #1 hits shelves in December but will only be the beginning of Jean’s return. As we suspected Thor: Ragnarok has had a great second week at the worldwide box office. The film remains the number one movie in the world overall with takings of around $650m making it the highest grossing of the Thor franchise. Earning $56.6m at the North American box office has taken the films domestic gross to $211.6m. Internationally it made a further $75.9m for a total of $438.5m. That puts the film ahead of the international totals of Wonder Woman ($409.2m) and Logan ($390.5m). With the release of Batman & Harley Quinn back in Summer we got our first look at the next DC Comics animated film… Batman: Gotham by Gaslight behind-the-scenes preview. Warner Bros. yesterday made the last minute decisions to move up the embargo on social media reactions to Justice League. As 5pm here in GMT rolled around we nervously sat and waited for the reactions to come in and it turned out they were, mostly, positive. Whilst several reporters pointed to a ‘fun but flawed’ movie it seems that Justice League has been on the whole well received. American ticket website Fandango has today released a new behind-the-scenes look at Justice League. Featuring some new shots from the film a well as a tonne of off camera action there’s a lot to see in the two-and-a-half minute featurette.
