My how things can change in just a matter of days. After recently bringing you the news that Captain Marvel writers were working on Silver and Black it appears that film is now being delayed.
A report from That Hashtag Show claims that Sony Pictures has abruptly and indefinitely delayed the Spidey spin-off. Rumours have been circulating for a little while that Sony is looking to sell off the move making brand to refocus on its technology roots.
The news appears to be confirmed by the films director Gina Prince-Bythewood though with legitimate reasons. The director replied to a tweet from That Hashtag Show on the subject.
Still working on the script. All about the script.

The simple answer is we don’t know how long the film may be delayed for. If Sony looks to sell its movie studio it could be held back until after a deal is done. Or it could simply wait for a better draft of the script to be turned in.
Silver and Black was originally due to hit cinemas on February 8, 2019.
