Calm down, guys. It’s happening. Today has been an absolute rollercoaster in terms of gaming news. The Playstation Showcase dropped some gems. We were anticipating some great surprises but honestly… Marvel’s Spider-Man wasn’t on our list. We just didn’t think that Spidey would swing by to make an appearance. How wrong we were. And talk about spoiled, right? Not only did we get a title drop but we also got a trailer which revealed some pretty exciting stuff. Thank you PlayStation.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is happening and according to the official blog, most of the team from the first game are returning, including Bryan Intihar (creative director) and Ryan Smith (game director). Yuri Lowenthal and Nadji Jeter will also be returning to reprise their roles as Peter and Miles respectively. Here’s where things get interesting… Tony Todd has joined the cast as the Symbiote-fueled Venom.
What else awaits us in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2? Well, we’ll have to wait and see. Although. it’s safe to say that we can expect some new villains, gadgets, combos and of course suits. With Venom entering the fray, the symbiote suit is looking very likely… Sign us up immediately.
