It’s no surprise that Marvel Studios Black Widow has been waiting a while to be released. In a new interview with Empire Magazine (via Screen Rant) director Cate Shortland further discussed the film and its extended wait for release.
The article reveals that “the film has been fully finished – and untouched – for a year now, just waiting to be unleashed on audiences.” Leads us to wonder how many times the staff at Marvel have had themselves a cheeky screening whilst waiting for the rest of us to see it!
The studio has also released six new character posters focussing on the film’s main cast. We can’t help but notice that all of these have a name apart from Taskmaster. Could Marvel be looking to hide the villains true identity?
Black Widow will see the return of Scarlett Johansson as Natasha/Black Widow, Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour portrays Alexei/The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz is Melina.
