Iron Man is probably one of the most celebrated and beloved characters in both the Marvel Universe and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Across the years, we’ve had many incredible Iron Man figures from Hot Toys and with each one they set the bar higher.

Say hello to the latest edition in the vast Iron Man collection. This particular version gives Iron Man a more classic look that reflects his appearance from the Marvel Comics. Check Tony Stark out in all of his glory below.

This stunning figure from Hot Toys stands at just under 33cm tall and has over 30 points of articulation. The standard version of this figure comes with just 1 interchangeable mask. However, the deluxe version comes with 3 additional masks all of which are inspired by Iron Man’s various appearances.

Here is a list of just some of Iron Man’s features:
    • A newly crafted helmeted head with LED light-up function (white light, battery operated)
    • LED light-up features on the eyes, chest, arc reactor, and palms (white light, battery operated)
    • Crystal clear armor elements for the helmet, upper chest to waist, arms, calves, and feet
    • Classic metallic red interchangeable armor pieces including helmet, chest, forearms, and calves
    • One pair of countermeasure dispensers
    • Multiple interchangeable hands for a variety of posing and display options
    • Articulated air flaps at the back of the armor
    • A specially designed figure display stand, with character name plate

This version of Iron Man is expected to ship between July of 2022 and September. What’s interesting about this figure is that it opens a very exciting door. Hot Toys could now go on and produce more comic book accurate figures as part of their “Origins Collection”. Just imagine Thor and Captain America. They could even give Thanos a makeover. The possibilities presented to us thanks to this one figure is incredibly exciting. We can’t wait to see what they come up with.

Iron Man is available to preorder through Sideshow and will cost roughly £280. The Deluxe Version will cost roughly £300. What do you think of this new figure? Let us know your thoughts in the comments. Be sure to check out more collectible news right here.
