The release for Godzilla vs Kong is approaching. Very soon, we’ll be able to witness the rematch of the century. The King of Skull Island, Kong, vs the god of the Titans, Godzilla. As the release date looms and fan excitement increases, the various studios involved have refused to slow down. Each week we seem to receive a brand new poster or some new footage. This week is no exception.
Over the course of a few days, we have received multiple TV spots for the fourth installment of the MonsterVerse. While both of the teasers below show some brand new footage, it’s still incredibly hard to tell what this film is trying to do. In fact, a lot of the new footage seems to be centered on Godzilla and Kong’s fight on top of the aircraft carrier, which is presumed to be their first encounter.

The brand new Chinese TV spot provides us with some fantastic shots. Most notably an intense “roar-off” between Kong and Godzilla. Apart from that, it mostly focuses on footage we have already seen. There is also a new shot of Millie Bobby Brown’s Madison.

Legends collide as Godzilla and Kong, the two most powerful forces of nature, clash in a spectacular battle for the ages. As a squadron embarks on a perilous mission into fantastic uncharted terrain, unearthing clues to the Titans’ very origins and mankind’s survival, a conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.

Godzilla vs Kong is set be released on HBO Max on March 31st. Hopefully, we can all enjoy this spectacle on the big screen. There’s still no news on how we’ll be able to watch it as of yet. Our hope is that we’ll receive more information closer to the HBO release date.
