Overnight the cast of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds appeared at the CCXP festival in Brazil to premiere the first trailer for their penultimate season. The short look at our next batch of episodes confirms that season 4 will premiere on Paramount+ on July 23, 2026.
The trailer gives a flavour of what fans can expect from season 4 including a Western-themed episode and the inevitable return of James Kirk (Paul Wesley). The ten episode season is anticipated to drop new episodes weekly, running through to September 24, 2026.

In season four of the Paramount+ original series, the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise — led by Captain Christopher Pike — embark on a series of thrilling and emotional adventures across the stars. As they journey to strange new worlds, they will battle inner demons and external threats, encounter colorful new characters, reunite with familiar faces and confront terrifying aliens. Through it all, they strive to embrace a bright, hopeful future.
The series stars Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun and Martin Quinn, along with guest stars Rhys Darby, Patton Oswalt, Cillian O’Sullivan, Melanie Scrofano and Carol Kane, plus special guest star Paul Wesley. The series is produced by CBS Studios, Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Henry Alonso Myers, Aaron Baiers, Dana Horgan, Davy Perez, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Chris Fisher, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth serve as executive producers.
