Despite rumours pointing towards Anakin Skywalker’s Hayden Christensen voicing Shadow The Hedgehog in this upcoming sequel, it appears as though Paramount have found their Shadow. According to various sources, John Wick himself, Keanu Reeves, is speeding his way to the Sonic franchise as Shadow, and we couldn’t be happier.
After footage dropped at this year’s CinemaCon, we knew it was only a matter of time before a casting was made. Paramount did show off some hefty footage which showed a down on his luck Dr. Robotnik, as well as some footage of Shadow fighting against Sonic, Tails and Knuckles.
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is directed once again by Jeff Fowler. Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, Toru Nakahara and Hitoshi Okuno will produce the film, which is set to be released on December 20th, 2024.
