Following the tragic events which took place earlier this week in Las Vegas Netflix  and Marvel have pulled The Punisher from the NYCC schedule. Deadline are reporting that Netflix felt is was ultimately inappropriate to promote a show with heavy gun violence so soon after the events. The two companies have released a joint statement to confirm the news: We are stunned and saddened by this week’s senseless act in Las Vegas. We’ve known for a little while now that a new Justice League trailer was on the way. With a little over a month to go until the films release Warn Bros. recently showed off the latest footage at an industry trade show in the US. We’ve yet to hear any descriptions of what was show but Warner Bros. has now confirmed that trailer will be released on Sunday. Geoff Johns is back today with the second in his series of previews for the upcoming ‘Doomsday Clock’ series. The 12 issue series will hit shelves later this year and promises to explain Dr. Manhattan’s involvement with the missing years from the DC Universe. Johns teases that more will be announced for the series at New York Comic Con. The special ‘Doomsday Clock’ panel will take place October 6 at 6pm ET. Warner Bros. Germany has just released a short new featurette for Justice League. The 56 second video shows off a few previously seen snippets from the film but also shows off some behind-the-scenes action. Whilst the countdown begins to the clash of Thor and the Justice League in November a new trailer for the God of Thunder’s third outing has surfaced online. Released in China is recycles much of the footage we’ve seen in previous versions. DC Comics has today unveiled a series of Justice League tie-in covers for comics arriving in November. Featuring a roster of artists across the brand series like Trinity, Aquaman, The Flash and Wonder Woman will all be getting covers devoted to the films cast. Star Wars alum John Boyega took to twitter last night to drop the first poster for his next movie: Pacific Rim: Uprising. The film acts as the sequel to 2013’s  first outing which was directed by Guillermo del Toro. Sadly del Toro is only acting as a producer on this film alongside Boyega. Directing duties are being handled by Angel and Daredevil helmer Steven S. DeKnight. The first trailer will drop next week at New York Comic Con. Time for a bit of breaking news from the DCEU. Variety reporter Justin Kroll has taken to twitter to drop the news that the script for The Flash / Flashpoint has been turned in to Warner Bros. EW has just shared a first look poster for season 5 of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Judging by the window on the right hand side we’ve got confirmation that Coulson and co. will be going in to space! In the season 4 finale we saw the team frozen in place and kidnapped by shadowy villains only for the story to pick up some time later.
