‘Shadow of the Tomb Raider’ announcement coming today

With her latest big screen adventure hitting cinemas in the UK today Lara Croft is also returning to consoles in 2018.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider has been on the way for some time. The title first leaked back in 2016 when it was spotted by a fan on a subway on the laptop screen of the person sat next to him.

Now a mysterious countdown on the franchise official website tells us an announcement is due TODAY at 13:00 GMT. Sadly it seems even Square Enid has been beaten to the punch as a version of the games first trailer has leaked online.

Seemingly the trailer is to debut alongside the movie which has already been released in several territories. We’ll wait for the official release later today before we post.

In the meantime, Shadow of the Tomb Raider is now officially due for release on September 14, 2018.
