Warner Bros. has just gone and surprised us all by dropped the first poster and a trailer tease for Tomb Raider! Taking clear inspiration from the most recent reboot entries to the gaming franchise this is a huge tease for fans. A few months ago we brought the news that Kingsman helmer Matthew Vaughn was in the frame to direct Man of Steel 2. Since then all has been quite whilst Warner Bros. builds up to the release of Justice League. With Superman still technically dead any developments are most likely being kept under wraps. After years of non-committal statements and flat out denials Marvel Comics may soon be bringing back the original Jean Grey. During Grant Morrison’s time running New X-Men the character was killed by Xorn and has remained dead ever since. Breaking news from Disney this evening: director J.J. Abrams has been confirmed to return to the Star Wars universe. Following the mutually agreed departure of Colin Trevorrow from the project last week Disney has negotiated a deal to bring Abrams back for Star Wars IX. It is believed that Abrams will be rewriting the script for Star Wars IX as well as directing the project. The script, originally written by Tevorrow and Jack Thorne, will be rewritten by Abrams and Chris Terrio. An official statement from Disney reads: J.J. The sad news has broken today that a legend of the comic book world, Len Wein, has passed away. He was 69 years-old. The famed writer and editor was perhaps best known for creating Wolverine and co-creating Swamp Thing. Beyond creating these two iconic character Wein also worked closely with Alan Moore on editing of Watchmen and was a regular contributor to Batman and Green Lantern at DC. For a time he worked as Editor-in-Chief in at Marvel where he masterminded The Amazing Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk and also worked on The Fantastic Four. Wein’s legacy will live on for years,…
After the success and mass acclaim of the Batman: Arkham series so far fans have been desperate for news of any new games. The series began back in 2009 with Arkham Asylum and was following by Arkham City in 2011, Arkham Origins in 2013 and finally Arkham Knight 2015. Variety exclusively broke the story earlier tonight that Jenkins has closed a deal with Warner Bros. to return.
