TRANSFORMERS 7 is no more

Transformers: The Last Knight

Following the underwhelming performance of Transformers: The Last Knight it seems Paramount Pictures has finally made a decision about the future of the franchise.

With Bumblee due for release later this year it seems the studio will focus its attentions elsewhere for the time being. The planned Transformers 7 has now found itself removed from Paramount’s upcoming slate.

Most recently the studio had put together a collective of writers to work on the expanding Transformers universe. Reports are now alluding to that collective being disbanded and the franchise abandoned for the time being.

Opening Dec. 21, 2018, Bumblebee is directed by Travis Knight with a script by Christina Hodson. The film stars Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Rachel Crow and Pamela Adlon.
