Woody Harrelson is currently out doing the rounds promoting Solo: A Star Wars Story. But comic book fans will soon see him in the upcoming Venom movie is an undisclosed role.
Collider recently caught up with the actor and asked him about his role in the movie:
“Well, you know, Ruben Fleischer did Zombieland, directed it, so that was a big part of it,” Harrelson said, explaining why he signed on to star in Venom. “And also, Tom Hardy, I really respect and think he’s one of the great actors. So that, coupled with what is a really wonderful script, I felt like I kind of should, you know? I’m just … I’m in a little fraction of this movie, but I’ll be in the next one, you know? So I haven’t read that script, but anyways, just rolled the dice.”
Rumours strongly suggest that Harrelson will be playing super villain and fellow symbiote Carnage. We may have to wait for the sequel to find out!
