Yesterday it was confirmed that Benjamin Percy will be exiting Nightwing with the upcoming issue #50. Now the publisher has revealed his replacement and give us more info on the dark twist in the tale of Dick Grayson. From issue #51 acclaimed writer Scott Lobdell will take over. Lobdell has long been in the comics business  and is perhaps best known for his Uncanny X-Men run and spinoff series, Generation X. Things are about to get steamy on Arrow. This short new promo for season 7 teases what appears to be a brutal fight sequels in the prison showers. This fight sequence could explain why Oliver is looking so beaten up in much off the footage we’ve seen from season 7 so far. We particularly enjoyed how it was edited along with the soundtrack. Fox has released two new trailers in readiness for The Gifted season 2. The series returns to the network on September 25 and so far they are doing a great job of building hype for the new season. With the mutants splintered in to two groups Fox wants us to know that we need to choose a side in this fight: the Mutant Underground; or the Inner Circle. Netflix and Archie Comics has teased that “something spooky” is coming today in celebration of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina TV series. The Netflix adaption of the Archie Comics character has also released a first look poster for the series. In a tweet accompanying the poster Archie Comics said “Happy Birthday, Witch. Something spooky is on the way… tomorrow.#CAOS.” We very much expect this to be a first look at footage from the series. Overnight The CW has released what it has dubbed the “American Alien Trailer” for Supergirl season 4. The short trailer features our first looks at Agent Liberty (Sam Witwer), Nia Nal (Nicole Maines) and Mercy Graves (Rhona Mitra). Interestingly the trailer also shines a spotlight on Kara’s new super suit. After all the furore yesterday over whether Henry Cavill is or isn’t still Superman the man himself has broken his silence. Cavill posted the below cryptic video on his Instagram account. The lovely people at DC Universe have been doubly kind to us today. Following the promotional gallery for the Titans pilot we now have a gallery for the series second episode. Entitled “Hawk & Dove” the episode looks to introduce the two titular characters. There’s also another flashback to the death fo The Flying Graysons and plenty more action with Brenton Thwaites in his full Robin costume. The series pilot episode, also titled “Titans”, will make its premiere at New York Comic Con on October 3. The series then jumps to the DC Universe streaming platform each Friday starting October 12. It’s been a trying few hours for Superman fans. Earlier today THR released an “exclusive” story claiming that fan favourite Henry Cavill would not longer be playing the Man of Steel. According to the report Warner Bros. was keen on having Cavill appear alongside Zach Levi in Shazam! When a deal could not be brokered to make it happen it seemed to mark the end for Cavill.
