Warner Bros. and DC Films Aquaman is coming to the end of its second weekend in international cinemas. News is beginning to trickle in that the characters first solo movie is continuing to prove profitable at the box office.
In second weekend news the movie is holding well in China and expected to make a further $50M+ by the end of Sunday.
On Friday Aquaman made around $27M from international market including $15M in China alone. On Saturday that is expected to rise to around $30-$35M. Sunday should close out the weekend around $25-$30M. Expectations are the movie will close out the weekend by adding $110M to its total box office.
Forbes is now predicting Aquaman to be the first post-Nolan DC movie to cross $1 billion at the worldwide box office!

The film is being produced by Peter Safran, with Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Rob Cowan, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.
