Variety is reporting that Fox president Peter Rice will be ready to close the Disney buyout as soon as January 1, 2019. The trade is reporting that Rice has informed employees of the studio the full effects of the buyout by Disney will come in the second quarter of 2019, New Fox will be ready to go by the first day of the new year. The so-called New Fox will house assets not sold as part of the merger. Lionsgate has released this new sizzle reel featurette for Robin Hood. Dubbed “Pulling Back The Hood” the featuette takes us behind-the-scenes of the new epic retelling of the classic folk tale. We get to see some of the action from the set. There are also interview snippets with all of the principal cast members. Some of the most interesting moments come in seeing lead actor Taron Egerton in archery training. Morbius: The Living Vampireis reportedly targeting a February 2019 production start according to CBR.com and Collider. Following news last night that James Gunn is in the frame to write and direct Suicide Squad 2 Dave Bautista has thrown his hat in the ring to get a role.
