PlayStation’s State of Play is over, but it dropped quite the bombshell before ending the stream. The 20 minute event ended with a brand new trailer for the upcoming and highly anticipated sequel God of War Ragnarok. To be honest, it was quite a surprise, but it ended up being the absolute highlight. While no gameplay footage was shown, we received a brand new trailer that focuses purely on the events that transpire within the game. This is, quite simply, our best look at God of War Ragnarok.
The trailer features some epic reveals that are rooted deep within Norse mythology, such as the appearance of Skoll and Hati, and Tyr. Witness the changing dynamic of Kratos and Atreus’ relationship as they prepare for war; Atreus hungers for knowledge to help him grasp the prophecy of “Loki”, as Kratos struggles to free himself from the past and be the father his son needs. All the while, the eyes of Asgard watch their every move…
