Kite Man Is Officially Coming To HBO Max With New Series Order
The previously reported Kite Man spin-off to Harley Quinn, reportedly titled Noonan’s, has been ordered to series by HBO Max.

Last month we reported that a spin-off to the critically acclaimed Harley Quinn animated series was in development at HBO Max. That series, tentatively titled Noonan’s, is set to focus on Poison Ivy’s ex-beau Kite Man and now we’re hearing it has been officially ordered to series.
HBO Max has announced that they’ve greenlit the ten-episode series which will see the return of Kite Man voice actor Matt Oberg to the role and will expand Harley Quinn’s animated DC Universe in unique new ways.
Noonan’s will focus on lovable loser Kite Man and his new squeeze Golden Glider as they moonlight as criminals to support their foolish purchase of Noonan’s, Gotham’s seediest dive bar, where everybody knows your name, but not necessarily your secret identity.
“We love the wild and fun world of Harley Quinn so much we just had to make a spin-off and who better to center it around than the outcast Kite Man,” said Suzanna Makkos, Executive Vice President of Original Comedy and Adult Animation at HBO Max and Adult Swim. “Justin, Patrick and Dean have created the perfect local hangout for Gotham City’s not-so-finest at Noonan’s, where bar patrons can blow off steam after a long day of mayhem.”
Noonan’s has been a staple of Harley Quinn since its debut season. An unremarkable dive bar on the surface, it nevertheless serves as the watering hole of choice for many of Gotham’s most nefarious residents. It’s also the location where Harley first met Clayface, who has since become one of the most trusted members of her gang.
Based on characters from DC, Noonan’s is executive produced by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, Dean Lorey and Kaley Cuoco. Lorey also serves as the series showrunner. As for when we might see it, that’s unclear at this point, but for fans hungry to return to Harley’s animated universe, the third season of her series is set to debut on HBO Max this summer.
