Just last week we got the news that the first audio mix of Harley Quinn season 3 had been completed. Earlier this week came the news that a spin-off series was also in the works. Now we’re hearing some casting news for another member of the Bat-family who is set to appear when the show returns.
Deadline has confirmed that actor Harvey Guillén will voice the character of Dick Grayson, aka Nightwing when the series returns with new episodes. Guillén was also recently confirmed to join the cast of the Blue Beetle film which is set to shoot later this year.
It was also recently announced that James Gunn would be playing himself in the new season of Harley Quinn. He will star in an episode which will deal with King Shark’s (Ron Funches) appearance in Gunn’s The Suicide Squad which released last year.
Guillén currently stars in FX’s What We Do in the Shadows as Guillermo De La Cruz, a vampire familiar that recently discovered he’s the ancestor of fang slayer Van Helsing. He recently finished the Natalie Morales movie I’m Totally Fine.
Harley Quinn stars Kaley Cuoco as the voice of Harley, and she’ll be joined by Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Diedrich Bader, Tony Hale and Chris Meloni.
