Sony Pictures promised us that a new trailer for Morbius was on the way. Well here it is in all it’s vampiric glory! There’s almost 3 minutes of footage from the upcoming Spider-Verse entry in this new trailer and it includes more than one nod to a certain alien-symbiote.
A new synopsis for the film reads: One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While at first it seems to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil – or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious new urges?

Directed by Daniel Espinosa, Morbius stars Jared Leto as the titular character, Matt Smith as Loxias Crown, Adria Arjona as Martine Bancroft, Tyrese Gibson as Agent Stroud and Jared Harris. Morbius releases exclusively in cinemas on January 28, 2022.
