Get ready for more Geralt of Rivea! Netflix has today released two brand new stills showing Henry Cavill in character from The Witcher season 2.
The two stills (below) show that Geralt has had a costume upgrade since the end of season one. The series recently returned to shooting after Covid-19 stopped production earlier in the year. The second season remains on track to debut in 2021.
A new synopsis for the second season reads:
Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.
The Witcher stars Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg, Freya Allan as Ciri and Joey Batey as Jaskier. Season one is available to stream now on Netflix.
