King Spawn #14 is published by Image Comics, written by Sean Lewis, illustrated by Thomas Nachlik, coloured by FCO Plascenia and lettered by AndWorld Design.

Issue #14 is available from 14th September 2022 either directly from Image Comics online or from your local comic book store, digital copies will be available to download from the usual content providers.

    Synopsis

Now that Spawn has assumed control over the Court of Priests, former allies are beginning to doubt his loyalty to the mission. This brings him into direct conflict with another HELLSPAWN, one he has never met before!

    Review

In this issue te battle for Hell’s throne is beginning to intensify as Clown and Ordeal along with the Child are putting their plans in place to take down Spawn, for the greater good? Is that really the purpose I highly doubt this group are fighting for the good of mankind, I feel there are more suspicious intentions in play. Clown is showing his willingness to work with the others to achieve the goal but is this an elaborate ploy to trick his way on to the throne himself, from previous issues I think we know that Clown isn’t the most trustworthy of beings. If Spawn is to achieve what he set out to do then he will most definitely have to fight for it, although we all know Spawn is up for a fight this well could be too big of a fight for him to win.

Once again the writing talents of Sean Lewis shines through, he manages to create a story that has the reader literally glued to the comic I personally have read each comic from this arc in one sitting each time, you just can’t switch off from the story each time it ends you just have to have more.

This time the illustrations are by Thomas Nachlik, I feel as an artist he does a great job in keeping with the Spawn look and feel keeping the dramatic style throughout. This book is dark and sinister but also a joy to read.

    Verdict

At this point I think there is no way you can’t give Spawn 5⭐️ everything about the book is strong and with every issue passing it just gets stronger, although I am looking forward tocwhat I am sure will be an epic ending I don’t want this arc to end and hope it will continue for a few more issues yet.
