Prime Video has released the full official trailer for Apocalypse Z: New World, offering an action-packed look at the upcoming sequel to Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End. The post-apocalyptic thriller will make its official festival debut at the Sitges Film Festival on Saturday, 10th October, before dropping worldwide on Prime Video on 30th October.
The original movie proved to be a massive success, standing as one of the platform’s most-watched international Original films behind only Your Fault. This next chapter continues to expand the grim, adrenaline-fueled world created by author Manel Loureiro, with director Carles Torrens (Sky Rojo, Animal de compañía) returning behind the lens alongside screenwriter Ángel Agudo.
The story relocates to the Canary Islands, which have managed to remain Europe’s last surviving safe haven following the catastrophic outbreak of the TSJ virus. When draining resources force a desperate team to launch a high-stakes supply run back to the mainland, Roberto joins the unit with questionable intentions.

The sequel leans heavily into an expanded ensemble cast, bringing back established fan favorites alongside a lineup of newcomers. Jose María Yazpik (Narcos) returns as crucial ally Pritchenko, who is desperately hunting for a way out, while Berta Vázquez (Vis a vis) reprises her role as Lucía, a brave nurse holed up inside an infested hospital. Most importantly for viewers of the first installment, Pedrito makes his return as Lúculo the cat.
Rounding out the core cast are Carlos Alcaide (El Internado: Las Cumbres), Julia Martínez (La promesa), Mónica López (Rapa), Tamara Casellas (Ama), and Santiago Vaca Narvaja (Society of the Snow). The ensemble is further bolstered by Axel Medrano, Pedro Hernández, Javier Godino, Ujin Moreno, and Mario Mayo, with Nostromo Pictures producing under executive producers Núria Valls and Adrián Guerra.
Apocalypse Z: New World premieres exclusively on Prime Video on 30 October 2026
