Prime Video has released the trailer for the second series of The Assassin, written by award-winning duo Harry and Jack Williams and produced by Two Brothers Pictures (The Tourist, Fleabag, Boat Story).
Fans have less than a month to wait until the estranged mother and son duo return to take on the criminal underworld, this time with some new enemies in tow, as all 6 episodes launch on 6th November on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland.
The new trailer sees hitwoman Julie (Keeley Hawes) and Edward (Freddie Highmore) reluctantly team up once again, when Edward’s dream honeymoon with Kayla (Shalom Brune-Franklin) is hijacked by the arrival of a mysterious new threat. Plunged back into a world of international crime, kidnapping and high-speed car chases, to survive the job and mend an already fragile relationship, they’ll have to take down Spain’s corrupt underworld…and hopefully not each other first.
