After a heavy week of video game announcements from the Playstation Direct and Summer Games Fest, Nintendo have dropped their latest Nintendo Direct showcasing all their latest titles dropping in 2026 and 2027 and boy do they have some big titles!

In no particualr order, here are some of the titles coming soon to Nintendo Switch 2.
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake
The absolute mic-drop of the showcase. The N64 masterpiece is being entirely reborn exclusively for the Switch 2, slated for a 2026 release no less! - Kingdom Hearts IV
In another massive shocker, Square Enix showed off a stunning new gameplay trailer featuring Sora traversing the ultra-realistic skyscrapers of Quadratum. It is officially confirmed as a Day 1 launch title for the Switch 2 whenever that will be! - Xenoblade Genesis
Monolith Soft teased a brand-new, visually distinct entry in the successful franchise featuring an unique 3D anime art style. Due to arrive sometime in 2027 on Switch 2. - Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave
Fire Emblem returns to the consoles with a massive tactical RPG featuring four distinct storylines. Launching on 17th September 2026 on Switch 2. - The Duskbloods
The highly mysterious project from the creators of Elden Ring resurfaced. While details remain sparse, a Closed Network Test is locked in for Summer 2026 on Switch 2. - Splatoon Raiders
A dedicated single-player 3D action-adventure spin-off where you hunt for treasure using an exploration mech armor suit. Launches on the 23rd July 2026, with a dedicated Direct coming on June 30. - Nintendo Switch Sports Resort
Bringing back 12 motion-controlled sports—including boxing, basketball, skateboarding, and hilariously, thumb wrestling. Arriving 22nd October 2026 on Switch 2. - Star Fox (2026)
The iconic rail-shooter showed off some impressive gameplay. It releases 25th June 2026, with a free demo featuring the tutorial and opening stage dropping later today. - One Piece: Grand Gourmet
A delightful and chaotic cooking-combat game where Sanji and the Straw Hat crew must battle massive Sea Kings and rival pirates to harvest rare ingredients. Releasing on 23rd October 2026. - Final Fantasy Resonance
A reimagining of a mobile game, Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius, this brings Final Fantasy back to its 2D pixel roots. No doubt a quality JRPG due out on 22nd October 2026.

It’s not just brand new titles coming to the Nintendo Switch, we have a number of games receiving major updates, here is when you can expect every newly title to drop.

- DK Challenge (NSO) Event
Dropping today and running until the 1st September, allowing players to partake in various challenges across all the Donkey Kong games to earn coins and to exchange them for digital cards. - Deltarune Chapter 5
The next chapter in the Delarune story releases on 24th June 2026. - Pokemon Pokopia
Paid DLC Update featuring new areas to explore, this time its underwater. With new outfits and items to choose from, it’s promised to receive hours and hours of new content. Due to release in August 2026. - Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMix, 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind (DLC)
In a huge drop, the Kingdom Hearts series is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 this October. Including all the Kingdom Hearts games in one huge collection, taking up over 131gb of space, you are promised well over 100 hours of gameplay.

Running at a silky smooth 60 FPS both docked and undocked, packed with Nero’s Devil Breakers and bonus content. Releases on 23rd June 2026 (Pre-orders open today). - Lies of P: Complete Edition
The brilliant dark fantasy soulslike is making its way to the hybrid system. Releases digitally on the 6th August 2026 with a physical release dropping on the 2nd October. - Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2
Konami’s next legacy compilation lands on 27th August 2026. - Onimusha: Way of the Sword
Capcom’s dark fantasy samurai epic gets custom Joy-Con 2 motion controls. Slicing it’s way onto the Switch 2 on the 25th September 2026. - Rayman Legends Retold
The gorgeous platformer remake returns with 4 brand-new musical levels and Gameshare versus modes on 1st October 2026. - Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen
Capcom’s massive open-world RPG gets an expanded edition on Switch 2, dropping on 9th October 2026. - Tales of Eternia Remastered:
A classic JRPG with anime flare arrives on the 16th October 2026. - Metaphor: ReFantazio
Atlus’ incredible fantasy epic makes the jump to next-gen Nintendo hardware on 12th November 2026. - Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
Pure blood filled carnage is coming to the handheld space. Slated for Holiday 2026. - Minecraft (Switch 2 Edition)
A dedicated upgrade utilizing the new hardware to offer enhanced lighting, vibrant shadows, and seamless world transfers from the original Switch. Coming late in 2026. - Stellar Blade
The stylish sci-fi action title is officially being ported to Switch 2, arriving sometime in 2026. - Xenoblade Chronicles Trilogy Upgrades
The entire definitive trilogy is getting dedicated Switch 2 editions featuring stunning 4K visuals, 60 FPS upgrades, and quality-of-life additions. XC1 drops digitally today, XC2 follows in July, and XC3 lands in December. - Lords of the Fallen 2
Dark fantasy action arrives in Fall 2026. - DayZ: Cool Edition / Final Fantasy XIV Online
Both multiplayer giants are locked in for 2026 release windows. - Muramasa: Revenant Blades
The stunning Vanillaware/Marvelous Wii classic is getting a gorgeous resurrection dropping early 2027. - Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories
