The first full clips from DC Studios upcoming Supergirl has surfaced online via ComicBook.com. The extended clip arrives as the film’s promotional tour is about to get underway ahead of its June 25, 2026 release in UK cinemas.
The clip, which you can watch in the player below, expands on a moment seen in this week’s brand new trailer as Kara is greeted on Earth by her very famous cousin, Superman. The clip features some great world building for the DCU as we hear Kara speaking in the Kryptonian language designed for last summer’s Superman. We also catch a glimpse of the now legendary design for David Corenswet’s Fortress of Solitude.
Supergirl stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zoe-El/Supergirl. Joining Alcock are Eve Ridley as Ruthye, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem, Jason Momoa as alien bounty hunter Lobo and David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham who will portray Kara’s parents. The film was scripted by Ana Nogueira who is now also rumoured to be being eyed for further DC Studios projects after impressing James Gunn and Peter Safran with her work on the Woman of Tomorrow story.
Supergirl will arrive in UK cinemas on June 25, 2026 before arriving globally on June 26, 2026.
