Marvel Animation has shared a series of new images from its upcoming four-episode Marvel Zombies event. The series, which follows the fan-favourite episode of What If…? season one, will debut globally on Disney+ on September 24, 2025.
After the Avengers are overtaken by a zombie plague, a desperate group of survivors discover the key to bringing an end to the super-powered undead, racing across a dystopian landscape and risking life and limb to save their world.

All four episodes of Marvel Zombies have now been sent to press for review. Can confirm that the series social embargo will lift on September 23, 2025 at 06:00 am BST with full reviews to be posted from 08:00 am BST the following day, September 24.
Marvel Zombies features a huge roster of MCU actors reprising their roles including Awkwafina, David Harbour, Simu Liu, Elizabeth Olsen, Randall Park, Florence Pugh, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Hailee Steinfeld, Tessa Thompson, Dominique Thorne and Iman Vellani. Celebrated voice-actor Todd Williams also joins the cast in the role of Blade.
The series is directed by Bryan Andrews from a teleplay by Zen Wells. Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt, Zeb Wells and Bryan Andrews.
