Alex Kurtzman has recently found himself in charge of the small screen Star Trek universe. The prouder recently appeared on the Deadline podcast and gave fans a huge download of information on upcoming Trek projects. Speaking of plans for multiple upcoming animated projects Kurtzman explained that a series with Nickelodeon has just completed its first storyboard artwork. Meanwhile the previously announced Lower Decks has brought on board Rick & Morty’s Mike McMahan for writing duties. Kurtzman also confirmed that there would be six more episodes of Short Treks, two of which would be animated with different styles and tones than either animated series.…

The Hunger Games left our screens way back in 2015 with the release of Mockingjay Part 2. However it’s been nine since since the publication of the third book in the series. But now it’s been announced that author Suzanne Collins will be publishing a Hunger Games prequel in 2020. It was a disappointing weekend at the global box office for Sony Pictures Men In Black: International. The fourth movies in the MIB franchise was able to break the $100m barrier but only just. In North America the F. Gary Gray directed picture was only able to gross $28.5m. According to BoxOfficeMojo that is the lowest opening of the franchise by over $20m.
