Today Walt Disney has begun to announce the international rollout for it’s Disney+ streaming service. The service will launch in Canada (C$8.99 per month, or $89.99 per year) and the Netherlands (€6.99 or €69.99) on November 12 the same day the service launches in the U.S., and will be available in Australia (A$8.99 or $89.99) and New Zealand (NZ$9.99 or $99.99) the following week on November 19. Deadline has just broken some further casting news for Warner Bros./DC Films The Suicide Squad. The James Gunn directed pic is adding Pitch Perfect 2 star Flula Borg is an undisclosed role. He joins returning castmembers Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag) as well as new castmembers Idris Elba, David Dastmalchian (Polka-Dot Man), and Daniela Melchior (Ratcatcher). It’s been announced that Birds of Prey is going back in to production for some addition photography. Director Cathy Yan is currently deep in the edition process and following test screenings it has been decided to go back in and add some further action to the movie. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed the news, adding that John Wick director Chad Stahelski is overseeing additional second unit photography. Late on Friday night some incredibly sad news broke when it was confirmed that Krypton had been cancelled by SyFy following its second season finale. According to Deadline this decision was, at least, in part due to the series only being licensed by the network and not an in-house production. Warner Horizon Scripted Television produce the show and license it worldwide. At the moment we understand that Warner are shopping the series elsewhere in the hope of resurrecting a third season.
