The trade broke the news that Sony Pictures and Disney/Marvel Studios were able to come to a deal to continue Spider-Man’s involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sony Pictures has now confirmed rumours that Spider-Man: Far From Home is heading back to cinemas on August 29. A press release reveals that audiences will be treated to “approximately four additional minutes of a never-before-seen action sequence.” The new cut arrives in time for Labour Day weekend in the US and will also be available in IMAX screens.
