Following a slightly confusing and staggered set of opening dates Spider-Man: Far From Home has made a huge dent on the worldwide box office. The movie opened in several international territories last weekend but rolled out almost completely across the globe this week and has amassed a huge $580m already. Spider-Man: Far From Home began its global box office rollout on Tuesday and already we’re seeing some huge returns for the Sony Pictures co-production with Marvel Studios. The movie exploded on to screens with a $39m opening day on Tuesday before breaking records on Wednesday. Legendary Pictures has confirmed that the previously announced anime based on the Pacific Rim movies will release on Netflix in 2020. During a discussion panel at Project Anime (via IGN), an industry event forming part of the annual Los Angeles’ Anime Expo, Legendary Entertainment’s executive vice president, Elie Dekel, confirmed that the series first season will premiere in 2020, with a second season to follow later.
