In the last of the sizzle reels from The CW we have DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. After a shaky start in the first season the series really came together in its second. Ending on the bombshell that the Legends actions have entirely screwed the timeline this trailer picks up with the realisation that the team has a huge amount of work to do to fix things. There’s plenty of new action to see. Plenty of zany plot twist and the tease that a big new villain is on the horizon. It looks like season 3 of Legends of Tomorrow will…

The Girl of Steel – Supergirl – also made a return to SDCC last night with a trailer for her third season. We left Kara Danvers in season 2 after making the difficult to release a toxin in to the air making Earth inhabitable to Daxamites. Suffering the loss of boyfriend Mon-El seems to have left Kara feeling a little dark. The new trailer has quite a bit of new footage showing the consequences of her decision in the season 2 finale. We also get our first look at Smallville actress Erica Durance taking over the role of Alura Zor-El.…

Warner Bros. and The CW has begun releasing their SDCC sizzle reels for all our favourite DCTV series. First up we’ve got a first look at Arrow season 6. Following the explosive events of the season 5 finale fans are still in the dark as to who survived the death of the island. Much to fans excitement…
Hours after Warner Bros. blew the roof of Hall H at SDCC it was Marvel’s turn to take the stage. It’s unlikely we’ll get to see the Avengers: Infinity War footage that has Twitter all excited but we do have something for you. As part of the panel Marvel unveiled the second full trailer for Thor: Ragnarok. Showing off the comedy aesthetic of the film alongside a whole lot of Hulk (talking!), Thor, Loki and Hela there’s a tonne of action for you to feast your eyes on. There’s no doubt that this film has been influenced by the success…

With just a matter of hours until the Warner Bros. panel at SDCC we’ve got two new pieces of Justice League art to show off. Shared a little earlier today on Twitter the new poster and banner show off five of the six leads from the upcoming film. As with most of the art released for the film so far one key character is missing. Superman. Although his logo can clearly be seen in the films new tagline “you can’t save the world alone”. Cleverly building in the heroes logos one can’t help but feel these photos were influenced by…
Whilst The Defenders were capturing headlines with their first trailer Netflix quietly announced some other good news for Marvel fans. After two successful seasons there was finally confirmation that Charlie Cox will return as Daredevil for a third season. More on the bubble was the Finn Jones vehicle Iron Fist. Whilst fan reaction was warm the reviews were not. The lukewarm reception led some to believe that his character would be sidelined to appearances in The Defenders series only. Well that just simply isn’t true as Netflix has confirmed that Iron Fist will return for a second season. No news…
With the Warner Bros. Panel coming up at 11:30PT fans are prepared for some big reveals for the DC Films team. We know that the full Justice League cast are due to be in attendance and speculation is rife for a new trailer. Could we also see the first footage from Aquaman? Star Jason Momoa seems to know something we don’t and he’s talking all about it on his Instagram What Momoa doesn’t realise is he’s just posted the first photograph depicting the full seven members of the Justice League. Though we’ve seen the full cast of DC Comics characters…
Last night at SDCC saw the premier of Batman and Harley Quinn the latest DC Comics animated movie. Whilst reaction to the film has been somewhat mixed-to-positive there is some buzz around the next few films in the saga. Warner Bros. has a habit of dropping the names of its next few titles during its premieres and this year did not disappoint. Last month a sneak peek at the back cover of Batman and Harley Quinn gave away that the next film will be an adaption of Batman: Gotham By Gaslight. That film has now been confirmed by Warner. Following…
