It gives us no surprise to report that Black Panther has flown past the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office. Following it’s $22.7m opening day in China the film took a full weekend gross of $66.5m. Overall, the film added an estimated $100m internationally pushing the overseas total to $516.6m for a global tally that now totals $1.078 billion. Black Panther continues to dominate the global box office. The film had a huge opening day in China taking an estimated $22.7m. That figure gives it the third-best opening day of all-time in the Middle Kingdom behind only Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War. During the final moments of 2016s X-Men: Apocalypse we saw the cast donning some very comics accurate costumes. With all those cast members returning for the next entry in the franchise fans have been wondering whether those costume would also return.
