Take this one with a pinch of salt. A new rumour from Variety suggests that OG DC Films Joker, Jared Leto, is getting his own solo movie.
According to the report Leto, who first appeared as the Joker in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad in 2016, is set to star in and executive produce an standalone film which will “pave the way for future movies branching from Suicide Squad.”
Although we don’t know the full details of his contract Leto is reported to be starring in a number of upcoming DC Films. We’ve heard plenty of rumours about a Harley & Joker movie as well as Suicide Squad 2 and Gotham City Sirens.
No news on how this potential film might interfere with the rumoured Joker movie starring Joaquin Phoenix.
