Back in December we brought you first looks at the upcoming Batman Ninja animated movie. Those early looks at the film featuring only the native Japanese language audio tracks. Now Warner Bros. has formally announced the films released and re-released that trailer with the English language audio track. Rumours last month pointed to 20th Century Fox developing a solo X-Men project for Kitty Pryde. The character portrayed by Ellen Page in two previous movies seems destined to head for the big screen in the next few years. A new rumour overnight from Deadline points to ex-Marvel writer Brian Michael Bendis working with Fox on the project. Also previously rumoured and now seemingly confirmed is the news that Deadpool director Tim Miller is signed on for the film. The Hollywood Reporter has since confirmed the duo are actively developing the project but no news on a planned release schedule as yet.
Interesting news this morning from The Hollywood Reporter regarding the potential opening weekend for Black Panther. Around a month ago predictions put the film at making $120-$125M across the opening weekend. That’s a huge figure for a first outing for a solo Marvel character. Now the tracking information has jumped and estimates put the film at $165M for Presidents Day weekend.
