Sony Pictures Venom is celebrating another successful weekend at the box office. Though overall the movie fell to third place in North America it was able to take another $18.1M to bring it’s domestic total to $171.1M. Following a similarly successful weekend internationally the worldwide gross has now topped $460M. The movie remains the number one movie internationally where it is currently open in 65 markets. Over the course of the weekend it pulled in a further $32.3M to take its international total to $290.7M. Netflix has brought the cancellation axe down on a second of Marvel’s streaming series. Following last weeks cancellation of Iron Fist it now seems that Luke Cage will not be returning for a third season. DC Comics has officially announced that Lex Luthor is coming to the Arrowverse.
