Netflix has finally lifted the lid on its upcoming adaption of The Umbrella Academy. The series, adapted from the Dark Horse comic by Gerard Way, will debut its 10-episode first season in February. The series will be based on the first volume of the comic in which children with special abilities are born all over the world. Sir Reginald Hargreeves adopts six of them to create the Umbrella Academy, a team of young superheroes. Fast forward to years later, and Hargreeves, the children’s “father” is dead. Though Wonder Woman 1984 isn’t in theatres for another 17 months Patty Jenkins already has an idea in mind for its sequel. Back in November we learnt that Two and a Half Men alum Jon Cryer was joining the cast of Supergirl as Lex Luthor. Now we have a first look at the actor in character.
