20th Century Fox recently began the press tour for Dark Phoenix with the cast and crew now circling the globe promoting what could be the final X-Men movie from the studio. Overnight the studio has released this new TV spot for the movie which includes several new scenes. Most ominously there is a shot of Michael Fassbender’s Magento exclaiming “The girl dies.” It doesn’t bode well for Sophie Turner’s Jean Grey. This week Game of Thrones pulled out perhaps its best episode of the final season to-date. Following the murky battle seen in the last episode we got to see something much brighter and much more heartbreaking as Dany and her dragons attempted to take on Cersei. Given how the episode concluded I think it’s safe to say that in the next episode Dany is going to be out for revenge. They might as well call this latest episode “Dracarys”. It’s been a little while since we had any updates on Matt Reeves The Batman. When last we heard about the movie it was aiming for a late 2019 production start, November being the month banded around by the press. Now journalist Justin Kroll has shared a brief update on Twitter. According to the film writer for Variety Reeves is still polishing the script for the movie. Lucifer returns to our screens next week with its fourth season. Fans will be well aware at this stage that the series is making the jump from FOX in North America to a worldwide distribution deal with Netflix.
