One of the biggest announcements from San Diego Comic-Con, I would argue, came when Taika Waititi announced that he would be returning to direct a fourth Thor film, which is unheard of in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Both Iron Man and Captain America received trilogies but with Thor’s fate left open after Avengers: Endgame, it does make sense to continue his story.
