Hot Toys are at it again with a brand new concept design figure. Say hello to Iron Strange who almost appeared in Avengers: Infinity War. Marvel Concept Artist Phil Saunders shared some concept art back in 2020 detailing this bizarre yet awesome design. It was also a major highlight in The Art of Avengers: Endgame.
Picture this. Doctor Strange is just about to be tortured by Ebony Maw but then Tony sends his armor to protect him while the Cloak of Levitation protects a vulnerable Tony. A battle ensues between Maw, Tony and a newly powered Strange. Unfortunately, that scene was cut from Infinity War but it’s great to see it visualised as a figure. Sure, it’s not the same but the figure itself is immaculate.
You can check out the figure below:

The figure consists of some beautiful details such as some magical text engraved into the suit, the Eye of Agamotto which sits where the Arc Reactor should be, and some Sorcerer Supreme mystical weapons. Iron Strange stands at roughly 32cm tall and has over 30 points of articulation so you can achieve those nice dynamic poses.
What’s important to note here is that this figure is part of the Avengers: Endgame Concept Art Series collection which means we could get some more in the future. What figure can we expect next? Well, isn’t that the question?
You can Pre-order Iron Strange directly from Sideshow Collectibles right now. The incredibly insane figure has been priced at $440 and is expected to ship sometime in 2023. It’s quite a long wait but it’s going to be worth it. Just look at it.
