Anime fans! Rejoice. We have some incredibly exciting news. KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! is making its long-awaited comeback. Not much is actually known about the new project. It could be a film or a third season. We simply don’t know. But we do know that something is happening. While we absolutely loved the movie, a 12 episode season would be absolutely fantastic, let alone hilarious.
The announcment came from the official KonoSuba Twitter page which was also accompanied by a brand new visual of the gang. Aqua, Megumin, Darkness and Kazuma.
Bring it on!
Voice Actors Jun Fukushima (Kazuma) and Rie Takahashi (Megumin) also took to Twitter to celebrate the amazing news with a delicious meal and a nice photo with the new artwork.
We can’t wait to find out more. KonoSuba is an incredibly hilarious show and Light Novel series. If you love a typical Isekai series…. This isn’t one of them. For new fans, here is the official synopsis:
After a traffic accident, Kazuma Sato’s disappointingly brief life was supposed to be over, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be a goddess, Aqua, and asks if he would like to go to another world and bring only one thing with him. Kazuma decides to bring the goddess herself, and they are transported to a fantasy world filled with adventure, ruled by a demon king. Now Kazuma only wants to live in peace, but Aqua wants to solve many of this world’s problems, and the demon king will only turn a blind eye for so long.
Both seasons of KonoSuba and the utterly insanse movie can be enjoyed on Crunchyroll while we wait for more news.
