Elementary, my dear Watson. Fantastic news from Netflix today as the streaming service announced that Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill will be back for Enola Holmes 2. Millie Bobby Brown will reprise her role as Sherlock Holmes’ sister Enola, while Cavill is set to return as the esteemed detective. Director Harry Bradbeer, who directed the first installment, and writer Jack Thorne are also returning to helm the sequel.
“Enola holds a special place in my heart — she’s strong, fearless, intelligent and brave. I look forward to fans seeing how her journey continues!” Brown said.
The first film, which hit the streaming platform in September 23, finds the young Enola (Millie Bobby Brown) waking on her on her 16th birthday to find her mother (Helena Bonham Carter) missing. With her brothers looking to send her to finishing school, Enola escapes London in search of her missing mother.
