Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon is back! Season 3 of Danmachi (its shorter name) is set to start broadcasting in Japan on October 2nd. However, the new season was originally scheduled for July but was delayed as a result of the continuing pandemic. With the release date of the third season looming, fans were gifted with a brand new promo showcasing the new opening and a better look at the new story arc.
Danmachi follows Bell Cranel, a solo adventurer, and his goddess Hestia. Together they conquer the Dungeon in order to improve their own strengths. However, the Gods of Orario have their own ideas. Very quickly, Bell is on everyone’s radar, including Ais Wallenstein, a famous swordswoman who Bell fell in love with. The series, adapted from Fujino Ōmori’s Light Novel series, is extremely fun, lighthearted, and pretty epic in terms of scale. If you haven’t checked it out, we highly recommend it. It’ll definitely bring a smile to your face.
This season in particular will focus on the discovery of a dragon girl that can speak the human language. Monsters are despised and hunted for sport in this fantasy world. When Bell protects this so-called monster, Orario is plunged into chaos. Sides are divided, friendships torn, and tough calls are made. But can Bell persuade the others that not all monsters are the same?
