STX has dropped the first trailer for director Guy Ritchie’s upcoming spy-action-comedy Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre starring Jason Statham. The film, set for release in 2022, also stars Aubrey Plaza and Josh Hartnett.
Super spy Orson Fortune (Jason Statham) must track down and stop the sale of a deadly new weapons technology wielded by billionaire arms broker Greg Simmonds (Hugh Grant). Reluctantly teamed with some of the world’s best operatives (Aubrey Plaza, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone), Fortune and his crew recruit Hollywood’s biggest movie star Danny Francesco (Josh Hartnett) to help them on their globe-trotting undercover mission to save the world.

The film stars Jason Statham, Aubrey Plaza, Josh Hartnett, Cary Elves, Bugzy Malone and Hugh Grant. Guy Ritchie directs Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre from a script co-written with Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies. Ritchie and Atkinson produce with Bill Block.
Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre is due for release in the UK in 2022.
